Dear Parents, Carers, Staff and Students,
Tomorrow is a special day at St Anthony’s. It's a day to celebrate and honour our beloved grandparents and those special individuals who serve as grandparent figures in the lives of our students.
Just as Jesus cherished and revered His grandparents, Anne and Joachim, we too recognise the profound importance of grandparents in the lives of our families and the broader community. Tomorrow's celebration is a heartfelt tribute to the significant roles that grandparents play.
Grandparents bring a wealth of love, support, wisdom, family history, advice, and generations of knowledge to our children's lives. They offer a unique perspective and guidance that shapes the character and values of the younger generations.
On this special day, we will take a moment to acknowledge and celebrate all the grandparents and grandfriends who enrich the lives of our students. Their presence and contributions are truly invaluable, and we want to express our deep appreciation for all that they do.
I invite all grandparents and special individuals to join us tomorrow and be part of this celebration.
As we approach the end of this term, I wanted to take a moment to extend my warmest wishes to each and every one of you. The hard work, dedication, and perseverance shown by our students and staff throughout this term have been truly commendable, and it's now time for a well-earned and restful break.
To our wonderful students, I hope you make the most of this time to relax, recharge, and enjoy special moments with your families.
To our dedicated staff, your commitment to our students' growth and well-being is truly appreciated. Take this opportunity to recharge and spend quality time with your loved ones as well. You've earned it.
And to all our parents, I encourage you to relish the precious moments with your children during this break. Time spent together is a gift that leaves lasting memories.
I am eagerly looking forward to welcoming everyone back for Term Four. It promises to be another exciting and fruitful period of learning and growth for our students.
Take Care
Mr Justin Devlin

We are delighted to celebrate a special moment in the life of one of our beloved families from our school community. On Sunday, the Smith family, Stevie, Gavin, Poppy and Jed were baptised into the Catholic faith, receiving the Sacrament of Baptism. In addition to this joyous occasion, the parents also received the Sacraments of Confirmation and Communion, strengthening their own spiritual journey. This beautiful family exemplifies the values and traditions of our Catholic faith, and we offer our heartfelt congratulations and blessings as they continue to grow in their faith together.
May God's love and guidance be with them always.

Sacramental Programs
Religious Education is a priority in Catholic schools. It provides the knowledge and understanding of the Catholic faith and outlines what is needed to live a Catholic life. Sacramental programs are Parish based, Parish coordinated, family focused and school supported.
Each year the Sacraments of Penance, Eucharist and Confirmation are celebrated in the Parish.
A Parish based program caters to the needs of all participants. In this way children from all schools receive the same preparation for each sacrament.
The Parish based, family focused approach to Sacramental programs is widely used throughout Australia as the preferred approach. This approach acknowledges the important role of parents and families in the whole preparation process. Parents are the first educators of children in the faith and traditions of the Catholic Church. Parents involvement in Sacramental preparation is crucial in shaping the values and attitudes of each child. So it is vital, for the continual spiritual growth of the child, that the families involve themselves in the Sacramental life of Parish.
Parents will NOT be allowed to enter the hall for any face to face purchases, as advised by the Catholic Education Office. Orders can be emailed to the school via info@sapdow.catholic.edu.au Orders must be at the office by 9am Fridays.
