Principal's Message
Dear Parents, Carers, Staff and Students,
As we come to the end of the year I would like to thank you for your ongoing support of St Anthony’s. As a Catholic community, we pray that each family is able to embrace the important message of Christmas of celebrating the birth of Jesus by spending joyous time together in prayer and celebration.
This year we have experienced a year like no other. We can proudly say that we have worked together to place the needs of the students at the forefront of who we are as a school community. Since COVID-19 began, the physical presence of parents within the school has very much been missed by students and staff. I hope that 2021 brings better news on how we can come together to ‘be community’.
The dedication and commitment of the staff are to be commended as they have strived to meet the needs of all students. I am grateful every day for their commitment to the learning and faith journey of our students. A sincere thank you to Fr Peter for his leadership of the community, his everyday faith witness and his enduring wisdom.
At the end of this year we say farewell to a number of staff members. To Miss Pamela Di Domizio, Miss Ashleigh Pace, Mrs Samantha Ollerton, Mrs Carolyn Manning and Mrs Barbara Woods. I would like to thank them for their contribution to the growth of all the students they have taught. I would especially like to acknowledge the work of Mr Glenn Crawford who will take up the role of Assistant Principal at Our Lady of the Way, Emu Plains next year. Glenn will leave a lasting impression on the families and staff of St Anthony’s. His professional manner and dedication to putting the needs of the students before his own have made him a well respected member of our community. To Glenn and the other staff who are leaving we wish them well in the new endeavors.
On behalf of the staff of St Anthony’s I wish you a wonderful time with your family over the holiday break and a very happy and holy Christmas.
Take Care & God Bless
Justin Devlin
