Principal's Message
Dear Parents, Carers, Staff and Students,
In last week's Gospel, we encounter the parable about a farmer who plants seeds and can do nothing about the growth until harvest time. This story shows that once the seed of the word of God is sown, only time will show how a person's faith will grow and develop. We are reminded that our Catholic faith is something that grows in time, and just like the seed we need to nurture it.
As a vibrant Catholic school, the key element to nurturing meaningful and sustainable progress that supports every child’s growth in faith and learning is to clarify that we are all part of the ‘we’. Staff, parents, and students play an active, important role in nurturing the faith, social, emotional, physical, and academic needs of our students.
Today we provide access, via COMPASS, to parents to review your child’s Semester One Report. As per our earlier communication, your child's Semester One school report provides valuable insights into all aspects of your child’s progress. By understanding their report, addressing any concerns effectively and developing strategies for improvement, you can actively support your child's educational journey. We need to be mindful that every child is unique, and their path to success may differ. In partnership, we work to understand the insights provided by the report and celebrate your child’s achievements. With knowledge, effective communication and targeted support we hope to all work together to support all children in maximising their potential.
Bookings for Parent / Teacher meetings are still open via the Compass portal. Parent/Teacher interviews are a great opportunity to engage in discussion about the progress and next steps for your child’s faith, academic and social development. Due to staff planned leave, Parent/Teacher interviews for students in Mrs Spiteri (Year 2 White) will occur in Week 10 this term (Tuesday 2 July). Book your interviews now!
Take Care
