Principal's Message
Dear Parents, Carers, Staff and Students,
As we return from our pupil vacation break, we look forward to continuing to provide connection with our students, with the wider community and with our faith. This connection was never more evident than our Easter Liturgy celebrations at the end of last term, our Anzac Day liturgy and the wonderful Anzac Day March in the second week of the school holidays, attended by a high number of St Anthony’s students. These celebrations reminded me of the honour and the privilege it is to be a part of the St Anthony’s Catholic community.
This term we look forward to continuing the very important work of the Catholic education of our students with high expectations for learning and teaching. As the term progresses our teachers will take the opportunity to reflect on each child’s learning, looking forward to sharing this information with parents via our Semester One school reports and parent/teacher interviews.
In providing feedback to both students and parents about their progress, as a school we also seek the opportunity to receive feedback in order to improve and become better. Via COMPASS all parents would have received a link to a survey entitled “Tell Them From Me”.
The "Tell Them From Me" survey is a valuable tool for gathering insights into parents' perspectives on various aspects of the school, including communication, activities at home, and support for learning and positive behaviour.
By engaging with feedback and striving for continuous improvement, as a collective community we are ensuring that St Anthony's remains a vibrant and supportive community where students can thrive spiritually, academically, socially, and emotionally. I strongly encourage you to find the time to complete the survey. Our target is to hear from at least 80% of the community.
