Principal's Message

Dear Parents, Carers, Staff and Students,

As we reconvene after a period of reflection and celebration during the Easter break, I extend my heartfelt gratitude to our dedicated staff members who orchestrated a profound journey for our school community through the events of Holy Week. Their tireless efforts in preparing the students for the liturgies, coupled with the students' reverent participation, crafted a truly special week in the life of our school.

From the triumphant entry on Palm Sunday to the solemn observance of Good Friday and culminating in the jubilant celebration of Easter Sunday, our students had the opportunity to 'walk with Jesus' and delve deeper into the profound mysteries of our faith. Bishop Brian's Easter message resonates profoundly as we continue to pray, reflect, and encounter the passion, death and resurrection of Jesus, allowing this divine mystery to draw us closer to the boundless love that God has for each of us.

Let us recognize and commend the wonderful work of our staff, whose unwavering commitment to nurturing the spiritual growth of our students enriches the fabric of our school community. Together, may we continue to embody the spirit of compassion, understanding and faith that defines our school's ethos.

Stations Of The Cross

I wish to extend a heartfelt commendation to the students who participated in the enactment of the Stations of the Cross at St. Anthony’s Parish Church Tahmoor this Good Friday. Their reverence and creative interpretation were not only a credit to themselves but also enriched the entire parish community with a profound spiritual experience.

Furthermore, a special thank you is due to Mrs. Smith for her unwavering support and guidance in nurturing the students' talents and dedication. Her commitment to fostering the spiritual growth of our students is truly commendable and greatly appreciated.

Cross Country

Today marked a remarkable milestone in the life of our school as we successfully concluded our full school Cross Country Carnival, despite the weather's challenges. The collective support of our parents, the unwavering dedication of our staff and the admirable resilience displayed by our students truly exemplified the spirit of our school community.

I extend my heartfelt appreciation to Miss Gaviglia for her exceptional organisation and tireless efforts in orchestrating this memorable event. Her commitment to ensuring that all students had the opportunity to compete is commendable and has undoubtedly contributed to the success of the carnival.

Amidst the backdrop of unpredictable weather, the positive energy and camaraderie exhibited by everyone involved brought a sense of unity and belonging to the entire school community. It is moments like these that highlight the strength of our community and reaffirm our collective commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive environment for all.

I want to express my gratitude to everyone who contributed to making this Cross Country Carnival a resounding success. Your dedication and hard work have not gone unnoticed and I am proud to be part of such an extraordinary community.
