Last Wednesday, 18 September, we, along with Mr Devlin, went to St. John the Evangelist Catholic High School, Nowra, to represent St Anthony’s at the Catholic Mission Launch. The Catholic Missions topic for 2019 is ‘Do not fear, for I am with you!’ and focuses on helping children escape poverty and have a better future. The liturgy we attended focussed on raising money for an African country named Ghana. The awareness raised was about helping the children of Ghana who are disabled. We are  called to donate to Sister Therese’s Home for God’s children where she takes care of over ninety children who are not looked after well enough. As a school we will be able to use some of the money raised from our Colour Run to donate to Catholic Mission during the month of October.
