Principal's Message

Dear Parents, Carers, Staff and Students,

I want to take a moment to celebrate the beautiful sacrament of Holy Communion that took place last weekend. It was truly a privilege to witness over 75 students from our school and parish participate in their First Holy Communion. This significant milestone in their spiritual journey was made possible through the remarkable dedication and exceptional leadership of Mrs. Julie Smith (REC), along with the  support of our Year Three teachers and staff. Collaborating closely, they devoted their time and effort to guide and prepare our students and children from our parish through weekend group sessions, ensuring they were well-equipped and spiritually prepared for their sacrament.

As we mark the start of the Advent season, it reminds us of the significance of Christ in our lives and serves as the commencement of a new liturgical year for the Church. The symbolism of the four candles of Advent - representing hope, peace, joy, and love - guides us as we prepare our hearts to celebrate the birth of Christ during the Christmas season.

At this point in time, I would like to extend my heartfelt appreciation to our diligent teachers who are tirelessly working on completing the Semester Two reports. These reports will be accessible via our COMPASS parent portal from Thursday 7 December, commencing at 3:00 pm. The Semester Two reports serve as a valuable opportunity for both students and parents to reflect on the progress made in the latter part of the year. The feedback provided will be instrumental in identifying areas for growth, serving as a stepping stone for setting new learning goals for the upcoming year.

Your active engagement in this reflective process will undoubtedly contribute significantly to your child's academic growth and development.

Wishing you and your family a blessed and joy-filled Advent season!

Warm regards,

Mr Justin Devlin

Principal
