St Mary of the Cross Mackillop Liturgy - Tuesday 8 August
Each year on August 8 we celebrate the Solemnity of Saint Mary of the Cross MacKillop, Australia's beloved first saint. On this day, we celebrate the important role she played in making education accessible for children in our country. Mary MacKillop devoted her life to ensuring a holistic Catholic education for children from rural, poor families.
Parents, carers and families are invited to join us in the school hall to celebrate St Mary of the Cross Mackillop Feast Day. Father Peter, students and staff will gather in the school hall for a Liturgy at 10:00 am.
