Remote Learning Reminders
The NSW Premier has announced that the restrictions in place across NSW and the stay at home (lockdown) orders for Greater Sydney, including Wollongong and Shellharbour, will be extended for at least another four weeks until 12:01am Saturday 28 August 2021.
This means that remote learning will continue until at least the end of Week 7, Term 3, 2021.
You can read the full guidelines for Level 4 (remote learning) schools here.
We will continue to support your child’s learning, faith formation and wellbeing and there are no other changes to what school will look like for you and your child at this time. Thank you for the generous support you have shown our teachers and school staff over the last three weeks, and for your ongoing patience as we continue to live, work and learn under these restrictions.
Please keep your children home if you can
The number of COVID-19 cases continues to present a serious risk to the community, with the Delta strain impacting young people and children more significantly than previous strains of COVID-19. The Chief Health Officer, Dr Kerry Chant, continues to strongly encourage parents and carers to keep children home unless it is absolutely necessary for them to attend school.
Any student who is unwell, even with very mild symptoms, must stay home. Any student who attends school with any COVID-19 symptoms will be sent home and must present a negative COVID-19 test and be free of symptoms before they return. Thank you for understanding the importance of these measures in keeping our students, staff and school community safe.
